Since the title may be a bit cryptic. Here is a short explanation about how the song became a song. Elektromann was on his way to work when he passed a sign of a local grocery shop. The shop sells only three item.

• Eggs
• Potatoes

Well, actually it is a bit more. They also sell whisky. However, as Elektromann told us. The sign was a sign to him! A sign to create a song with these three words. After all germans love beer, eggs and potatoes.
